I'm looking at this dude, and all I'm hearing is
BABY
FEEL ME TO-NIGHT
AS WE DANCE
BY THE MOON-LIGHT
I am honestly shocked that this series is still going and, somehow, looks even worse and more jerky than it did when I was like 17! Wow!
props for keeping it going that long, and I do mean that genuinely, but having characters jitter about randomly every half-second like this doesn't make the animation look any more lively it makes the characters look like they're having an epileptic fit. This has been a constant of your work for years.
This seems as good a post as any to point out your animations have remained stuck firmly in the amateur era of the early 2000s, with exactly the same assets you've been using since.
Foamy my man, your format's been stale for decades now, it's admirable you keep going but something as simple as actually animating the pissy invader zim squirrel mascot gesticulating for more than a few frames would do a lot to improve these rants. Hire someone if you gotta, I'm sure there's plenty of talent on this website willing to throw in with you.
Maybe branch out of the youtube rant content too, vary what you produce.
As it is, I've got fond memories of watching this when your nearest competitors were only about as advanced as Mario Hyadin, but with the wealth of information on how to get better available now you've been left behind.
huge damn improvement! Keep working on your animation pacing and details though, when the crossbow dude got sent flying by his own recoil his crossbow still had the drawstring pulled back! Visually confusing to the gag!
Christ that caught me off guard, what a fucking trilogy
That was great, I wasn't expecting that cut-out of the fantasy at the end and it added a lot to the clip
these characters seem real endearing
Decent stuff for a newbie. Keep working on it, the bingo card thing was a fun idea, though also made the progression a bit too easy to predict. If you use the gag again, I reccomend mixing it up some by making the patterns a bit more random before nailing a bingo. Think tic-tac-toe.
As for the art, I HIGHLY reccomend you take some time each week to practice some fundamentals. I mean really basic junk.
shading of basic shapes like cones cubes and spheres to develop your 3d visualiation, figure drawing, copydrawing parts of the skeleton off photos from google...
It's dull, but if you do it once a week every friday you're gonna see a meteoric increase in skill. If you want a good place to start, I reccomend copydrawing skulls from google. Don't skimp on any details.
good animation, kinda mediocre backgrounds, and honestly kind of irritating Voiceacting. focus on your voices and sets, they're holding this back.
Pretty dope, i'd absolutely play a game styled like this! You should actually try and make one!
I cannot but thank you!
Game developer, animator, and pixel art man!
Always down for some game dev shenanigans!
